Croatia will be one of the representants of the old Yugoslavia in this World Cup of 2014. Since it turned independent, Croatia appeared at the editions of 1998, 2002 and 2006 of this Mundial. Their first appear was their best of the selection, surprising everyone and getting the third place in the competition.
     The actual generation can't be the most talented, but certainly counts with great names on the international football, like Luka Modric (Real Madrid, Spain) and Mario Mandzukic (Bayern Munich - Germany). The team will be commanded by Niko Kovac, that appeared as a player in the edition of 2006, when faced Brazil by the first time and lost the game.
